We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of our children and whānau. This role is ideal for a teacher with at least two years' experience in an early childhood centre setting. Experience working with infants and toddlers would be highly valued, as we are particularly interested in candidates who are confident supporting our youngest learners through responsive and meaningful care.

As part of our teaching team, you will help create engaging learning environments, build strong relationships with children and families, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility with start and finish times is essential, as the role operates on a rolling roster.

Role Requirements

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) with current teacher registration/certification
  • A solid understanding of child-led curriculum and the ability to extend children's learning
  • Strong knowledge of current ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki, with a focus on compliance
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
  • A deep passion for teaching and learning
  • At least two years' experience in a centre-based ECE role
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred
  • Flexibility to work a rolling roster
