ECE Teacher-in-Training (BestStart Oraha)
About the Role:
We're searching for a passionate teacher in training to join BestStart Oraha Road's 2-5 room. Located in Kumeu/Huapai, our purpose-built center draws inspiration from the nearby Riverhead Forest. If you're enrolled in a level 7 ECE program and have a love for teaching young children, we want you!
Our approach integrates Reggio Emilia principles and Te Whāriki, fostering a nurturing environment where diversity is celebrated, and lifelong learning is encouraged. Join our close-knit team and be part of something special!
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.

Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:
- Enrolment into a level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma course
- Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
