About the Opportunity

Are you currently studying towards your Level 7 ECE qualification and eager to grow within a supportive, experienced team? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher in Training to join our toddler room, working alongside children aged 2 to 3.5 years.

Our centre is a true hidden gem, featuring three thoughtfully designed learning spaces and expansive outdoor environments that inspire exploration, discovery, and meaningful play. Our well-established team brings a wealth of knowledge and shares strong teaching philosophies, values, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care and education.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

Role Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to making a difference. You will have:

  • Enrolment in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor programme
  • An understanding of child-led curriculum and learning extension
  • Knowledge of ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
  • A genuine passion for teaching and learning
