ECE Teacher-in-Training (BestStart Bremner Rd)
About the Role:
BestStart Bremner Road is looking for a passionate and motivated Teacher in Training to join our energetic and supportive team. We are committed to providing quality education for the children in our community and fostering an environment where both tamariki and kaiako can thrive.

As a Teacher in Training, you will work alongside experienced kaiako to support children’s learning and development, contribute to planning and assessment, and grow your teaching practice within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week.

Role Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of tamariki and enjoys working as part of a team dedicated to excellence.
You will ideally have:
- Enrolment in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor of Teaching
- A good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and extending children’s learning
- Knowledge of Te Whāriki and current ECE regulations, with a strong focus on compliance
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive pedagogical practices
- Passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to quality teaching and learning
