In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to design beautiful, purposeful learning spaces and build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues. We’re seeking a qualified and registered teacher who is caring, inclusive, and passionate about supporting diverse learners, with a genuine interest in sustainability and creating meaningful learning opportunities.
This is a permanent role offering 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re after someone who shares our commitment to quality, care, and community. Ideally, you will have:
- A Level 7 ECE teaching qualification (BEd/Dip) and current teacher certification
- Experience in a preschool setting with a strong understanding of child-led curriculum and planning
- A working knowledge of Te Whāriki, ECE regulations, and a high standard of compliance
- A commitment to inclusive practice and understanding of diverse learners
- A creative eye for setting up inspiring learning environments
- A deep commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practice
- A warm, positive approach and a drive to keep developing your teaching practice
