About the Role:

What We’re Looking For:
We’re on the hunt for a passionate, high-impact teacher who:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and a current Teacher Certification
- Advocates for equitable outcomes for tamariki and builds strong learning partnerships with whānau.
- Embodies the Code and Standards of the Teaching Profession, enacting quality practices that bring our centre philosophy and localised curriculum to life.
- Creates a safe, culturally responsive environment guided by Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Contributes to and enacts the centre’s strategic plan, annual goals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Supports children’s learning progression through effective assessment, planning, and teaching strategies aligned with Te Whāriki.
- Actively engages in professional growth, mentoring, and leadership—inspiring and motivating others along the way.
- Understands the role of Person Responsible and leads with confidence.
