ECE Cook (BestStart Oraha Rd)
Are you a creative, health-conscious cook who believes that little learners deserve big flavours and nourishing meals? Our wonderful team at BestStart Ōraha Road is looking for a positive, bright, and bubbly Centre Cook to bring fresh, wholesome food to life - straight from our garden to our children’s plates!
About the Role:
If you have a passion for preparing nutritious, child-friendly meals, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking appetising and culturally varied meals for morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea each day.
Our centre proudly holds a Healthy Heart Silver Award, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to healthy, balanced meals. You’ll also take charge of weekly food ordering, creating seasonal menus, and ensuring all meals meet children’s dietary and allergy needs.
Permanent, Part-time 30 hours per week (7:30am – 2:00pm, Monday to Friday).
