About the Role:
We’re looking for someone who loves cooking and can provide fresh, nutritious and delicious meals for our tamariki each day.
As our Centre Cook, you’ll plan, prepare and cook a varied menu, including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. You’ll play an important part in promoting healthy eating and supporting our children's wellbeing.
This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Role requirements:
- Passion for cooking and baking
- Knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene and health and safety practices
- Understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
- Computer skills to plan menus and place orders
- Ability to manage food budgets
- Passion for providing healthy, nutritious meals for young children
