Freckles Early Learning Centre is seeking a warm, passionate Caregiver to join our energetic and close-knit team. We’re proud to deliver high-quality education and care to the tamariki in our vibrant local community.

About the Role

This is a 30-hour-per-week position, supporting two classrooms from 8.30am - 3pm, Monday-Friday. This is a fixed-term parental leave cover from July 2025 to February 2026, with the potential for extension. We're looking for someone who brings a bubbly, positive attitude, shows initiative, and manages their time effectively. Previous experience in a centre environment is preferred.

Your Day-to-Day

As a Caregiver, you will:

• Provide nurturing, high-quality care and education to our tamariki
• Support learning through play, curiosity, and creativity
• Work across both classrooms, covering breaks and supporting team routines
• Be an active, engaged member of a passionate teaching team
• Help maintain smooth daily operations at the centre

• Have experience working with children under five, particularly infants and toddlers

An ECE qualification is not required for this position.
