About the Role:
This role will be based with our over 2-year-old tamariki. Here we focus on children developing their confidence and independence as well as the ability to work cooperatively with others. We also begin preparing our children for school through a child led curriculum following children's interests, whilst weaving in social competencies and a Be School Ready initiative.

Reporting to our Centre Manager and working within a close-knit team you will be joining a dedicated team of Teachers who provide quality care and education to our tamariki. You will need to be easy going, open to learn and able to have a laugh.
Here’s what you’ll do on a day-to day basis:
- Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki
- Champion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki learning
- Fully participate in centre activities across all classrooms and cover staff breaks where necessary
- Support centre operations at all levels
This is a permanent position working 30hours per week Monday-Friday, from 8.30am - 3pm.
Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must. You’ll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
