About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and caring Caregiver to join our preschool team in a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
You'll be part of a supportive and passionate team where your ideas, relationships, and contribution are valued. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of tamariki every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting tamariki to learn, grow, and thrive through meaningful play and engaging experiences.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues.
- Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.
- Working collaboratively with the team to support the learning programme and smooth day-to-day running of the centre.
- Encouraging tamariki to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children under five - a qualification isn't required.
- A genuine passion for working with tamariki and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, caring attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
- Someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
