BestStart Riccarton Park is looking for a warm, adaptable Caregiver to join our energetic, tight-knit team. Our centre’s vision is “Growing Connections, Growing Community”, and as a relatively new centre, we’re passionate about building strong relationships, not only within our team and with tamariki, but also with our wider local community.

About the Role
As a Caregiver at BestStart Riccarton Park, you’ll support tamariki aged 0–5 years, working flexibly across all classrooms. Your adaptability will help provide smooth, consistent care and create positive, nurturing experiences for children at every stage of their learning journey.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Provide excellent care and learning experiences for tamariki
- Support teachers across all rooms, from infants to preschoolers
- Jump into a range of activities to extend children’s learning
- Help with centre operations and cover staff breaks
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8.30am–3.00pm.
What We’re Looking For
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident working with ages 0–5
- Experience with children under five
- Warm, caring, and ready to grow with our team
- No ECE qualification required
- Strong initiative and ability to take guidance
