About the Role
This is the perfect opportunity to start the year in a role filled with purpose and connection.
As a Caregiver at BestStart Riccarton Park, you’ll support tamariki aged 0–5 years, working flexibly across all classrooms. Your adaptability will help provide smooth, consistent care and create positive, nurturing experiences for children at each stage of their learning journey.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Provide excellent care and learning experiences for tamariki
- Support teachers across all rooms, from infants to preschoolers
- Jump into a range of activities to extend children’s learning
- Help with centre operations and cover staff breaks
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday from 8.30am–3.00pm.
What We’re Looking For
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident working with ages 0–5
- Experience with children under five
- Warm, caring, and ready to grow with our team
- No ECE qualification required
- Strong initiative and ability to take guidance
