ECE Caregiver (BestStart Ponsonby)
About the Role
We're looking for a superstar to join our growing team at BestStart Ponsonby in a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Working alongside our experienced teaching team, you'll support our 2–4-year-olds in beautiful learning environments designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
Our centre is entering an exciting new chapter. We've recently opened a brand-new classroom with an expansive outdoor play space, and The Big House is currently undergoing a full indoor and outdoor refurbishment. Once all spaces are complete, you'll have the opportunity to choose the environment you'd most like to work in.
Tucked away down a quiet, tree-lined driveway, our centre is a true home away from home. You'll be joining a warm, welcoming team with many years of experience, who are passionate about supporting one another and creating meaningful learning experiences for every child.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing exceptional care and support for our tamariki
- Creating engaging learning experiences alongside our teaching team
- Building strong relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the centre and contributing to a positive team culture
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children under five
- Has a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
- Is warm, reliable, proactive, and enjoys working as part of a team
- Brings a positive attitude and a caring approach to every day
