About the role

As a Caregiver, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where tamariki can thrive. Working alongside our over-2s, you’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive team committed to high-quality care and education.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing warm, responsive care and quality learning experiences
  • Supporting and extending tamariki learning through play and exploration
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
  • Assisting across rooms and supporting daily centre operations

This is a permanent role for 20 hours per week, worked across 3–5 days (flexible for the right person).

What we’re looking for

  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • Experience with children under five (essential)
  • A warm, nurturing approach and natural affinity with tamariki
  • Initiative and willingness to learn and take direction
  • An ECE qualification is not required, just the right attitude and heart
