ECE Caregiver (BestStart Paraparaumu)
BestStart Paraparaumu is looking for a passionate Caregiver to join our energetic and close-knit team.
Our infant room is licensed for 19 children under two, and we're looking for someone who loves working with infants, values teamwork, and is passionate about supporting tamariki to learn and thrive. We pride ourselves on creating a positive, fun environment where we work together, share plenty of laughs, and provide high-quality care and education. About the Role
As a Caregiver, you'll help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where our youngest tamariki feel valued and supported. Working alongside our Centre Manager and teaching team, you'll play an important role in delivering quality care and learning experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional care and education for our tamariki
- Supporting learning through meaningful interactions and activities
- Contributing to a positive team culture
- Assisting across the centre and supporting daily operations as required
This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, working with infants.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with infants and toddlers
- Enjoys being part of a supportive team
- Has experience working with children under five
- Is proactive, reliable, and willing to learn
An ECE qualification is not required, but previous experience with young children is essential.
