ECE Caregiver (BestStart Orewa West)

Our purpose-built centre features beautiful, spacious outdoor areas that encourage exploration, creativity, and connection. As a fairly new and growing centre, there’s lots of opportunity for personal career development and for you to make your mark in an expanding team.
You’ll work with children under three years old, alongside a passionate and experienced team and reporting to a supportive Centre Manager. In this role, you'll provide high-quality care, engage meaningfully with tamariki, and help create a calm, nurturing learning environment.
This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
About the Role:
- Provide exceptional care and education for toddlers
- Build responsive, loving relationships with tamariki and whānau
- Support day-to-day routines and classroom activities
- Step in where needed to help the centre run smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children under three is essential
- Calm, nurturing, and responsive teaching style
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
- Positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to take direction
- ECE qualification is not required, but a genuine love for working with children under three is a must!
