ECE Caregiver (BestStart Mt Eden)

We are located in a beautiful villa right across the road from Eden Park, surrounded by a welcoming community. Our centre features a stunning meadow garden space, which we use to connect tamariki with nature, foster sustainability, and strengthen relationships with our local community.
We’re currently seeking a caring and experienced Caregiver to join our warm, collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a centre where relationships, creativity, and learning through play are at the heart of everything we do.
This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week Monday - Friday
About the Role
As a caregiver, you’ll play an important part in shaping the early learning journey of our tamariki. Working alongside a dedicated team of teachers, you’ll help provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and growth.
Your Day-to-Day
- Provide exceptional care and education for tamariki.
- Champion teamwork and actively contribute to our positive, inclusive centre culture.
- Engage in experiences that empower tamariki to learn and grow.
- Support daily centre operations, including assisting across classrooms and during staff breaks.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in an early childhood centre is essential.
- A natural affinity for working with young children and a genuine passion for early learning.
- A calm, caring, and professional approach with strong teamwork skills.
- Initiative, reliability, and a willingness to support the wider team.
