ECE Caregiver (BestStart Elles Road)
Due to exciting occupancy growth, we’re looking for a passionate and nurturing ECE Caregiver to join our team at BestStart Elles Road.
Located in the heart of South City, Invercargill, our centre is a warm, community-focused space where tamariki are encouraged to explore, grow, and lead their own learning. We champion autonomy, rich play-based experiences, and equitable outcomes for every child, with our centre priorities of Mana Reo (Communication), Whanaungatanga (Relationships), and Kaitiakitanga (Sustainability) guiding everything we do. We are also proud participants in the Wild @ Heart Bush Programme, where our four-year-olds build strong connections with nature and develop a deep sense of care for their environment and community.
About the Role
- 30 hours per week on a rolling roster
- Working with tamariki aged 2–5 years
- Supporting children’s learning through play, relationships, and responsive care
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture
