E&I Technician (Day Work) Kinleith base. We are seeking a motivated person with a passion to help, to join our Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance team at the OJI Fibre Solutions Kinleith site in the Mighty Waikato. This is a hands-on role which includes Trouble shooting, Maintenance and configuration for minor plant changes.
To be considered:
- You will have a strong Electrical/Instrumentation capability
- minimum 3 years’ experience working in the heavy manufacturing industrial sector ideally in the pulp & paper industry
- working, with DCS, PLC’, VSD’s, SCADA and engineering workstations.
- You will have an electrician qualification and hold EWRB electrician registration
- You will hold IMC level 4 qualification or currently be working towards it.
Some of the Equipment, Systems and Tasks include
- Industrial switch board maintenance HV and LV
- PLC and Variable speed drive, maintenance, repair and replacement
- General electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Field instrumentation maintenance, including analytical systems
