We have a casual position based at the Queenstown Events Centre.
The role of Duty Officer is to support the Duty Supervisor in ensuring the safety, security and customer satisfaction of both users and visitors of the Queenstown Lakes District Sports and Recreation venues. You will be required to work towards improving safety, cleanliness and atmosphere of the venues, whilst supporting the wider Sport and Recreation team and acting as a point of contact for external contractors and customers. Based at the Queenstown Events Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring rooms, playing fields, courts and all related equipment are available on time for customer bookings. You will also carry out minor maintenance and cleaning tasks where required and support the Customer Services Team during peak times.
This position may suit someone with a handyman background or someone who has previously worked in the Customer Services or Retail sector who enjoys applying themselves practically.
