At Liquorland South City, our customers can count on friendly, knowledgeable service with a great range of wines, spirits, beers and RTDs. Our team takes pride in knowing our products and providing helpful advice, whether a customer is looking to try something new or simply pick up a trusted favourite.

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused person to join our team in a full-time role, working approximately 40 hours per week across a varied roster that includes days, evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will help lead a small team and play an important part in delivering consistently high standards of customer service. You will be confident working in a busy retail environment, enjoy engaging with customers and be comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the store.

With a large selection of wine, beer, spirits and RTDs, our focus is on making every occasion simple, enjoyable and well catered for. Previous experience in retail or hospitality would be an advantage, along with an interest in developing your product knowledge.

  • We are looking for someone who:
  • Enjoys working as part of a small, close-knit team
  • Has previous retail or hospitality experience
  • Is confident with customers and understands what great service looks like
  • Communicates positively and effectively with both customers and colleagues
  • Has cash-handling experience and good attention to detail
  • Is reliable, organised and able to take responsibility when required
  • Has a current Manager’s Certificate, or the ability and willingness to obtain one
  • Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn and develop

In return, we offer opportunities to upskill and develop, with pathways for career progression across the wider ILT group. You’ll also enjoy a range of staff benefits, including discounts with local organisations and ILT wide discounts across our restaurants, bars and other venues.

This is a great opportunity for the right person to take the next step in their career with a professionally led organisation. You will be part of a team that takes pride in delivering great service while contributing to an organisation that delivers tangible outcomes back into the local community.
