Mō te tūnga | About the role:
We have two vacancies in our Iona (Dementia Care) Housekeeping team, one is permanent part time and one is a casual.

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our residents enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You'll need to be physically fit, the roles involve some lifting and demand a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced setting. 

You'll have the chance to forge meaningful connections, engaging with residents in a respectful, patient, and empathetic manner whilst providing quality domestic and housekeeping services in a manner that reflects and respects the "home" environment for all of our residents.

We operate 24/7, so both positions require weekend availability, with shifts between 7 am and 3 pm. If you're passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our residents while maintaining high cleanliness standards, we'd love to hear from you!

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A reliable, friendly, and professional attitude 
  • Strong reading and writing skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to interacting with residents and colleagues
