With group revenue of circa $275m, Scott is recognised for its ability to solve complex, high-volume production challenges through smart, scalable automation, improving productivity, quality, and safety for customers across sectors such as food processing, appliance manufacturing, mining and logistics. Built on deep engineering expertise and a strong reputation for technical excellence, Scott Technology continues to expand its global footprint through innovation and strategic acquisitions, positioning itself as a trusted end-to-end partner from design and build through to installation and long-term support.
As Scott Technology enters its next phase of growth, we are seeking an Independent Director who will step into the role of Chairperson over the next 18–24 months. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with board leadership aspirations, who bring strong governance capability, the presence to lead, and a passion for shaping innovative, future-focused organisations. This is a rare chance to join a high-performing Board, influence strategic direction, and ultimately take the Chair in a company recognised for its technology leadership and global partnerships.
Key strengths we’re seeking:
· A respected governance leader with strong manufacturing sector insight.
· Experience within an innovative, future-focused engineering environment.
· Understanding of robotics, AI, and emerging manufacturing technologies.
· Proven governance expertise, with the ability to lead a diverse, aligned Board.
· Strategic leadership experience and a strong sense of stewardship.
· High-level commercial, engineering and manufacturing literacy, ideally gained within leading-edge technical environments.
· Capability in shaping future board composition and overseeing executive succession planning.
If you are an experienced governance leader with the capability and presence to help shape Scott Technology’s next chapter, we welcome your interest and encourage you to apply.
