Are you a whiz with numbers and driven by purpose? KidsCan is on the hunt for a dynamic Director who will also Chair their Audit & Risk Committee. This is a pivotal volunteer role strengthening governance and helping Kiwi kids in need thrive.
From humble beginnings in a garage in 2005, KidsCan has grown into one of New Zealand’s leading charities supporting children affected by poverty. Each year, KidsCan supplies millions of food items, clothing, and health products to 1,400+ schools and early childhood centers across the country helping children to stay warm, nourished, and ready to learn.
KidsCan impact is tangible: teachers see improved wellbeing, attendance, and engagement, and KidsCan alumni say the support helped them reach their goals. None of it would be possible without generous Kiwis and businesses who believe no child should go without.
As a Director & Audit and risk Chair, you will work closely with our CFO bringing your financial acumen, strategic mindset, and steady hand to guide risk and ensure strong stewardship.
