Key Details 

Location: Police National Headquarters, Wellington.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 gross per annum. 

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. 

Eligibility:  Applicants for this position must have the legal right to work in NZ and consent to undergo a NZ Police Vetting Process.

About the role | Mō te tūnga 

Read to make your mark? We’re seeking a talented Direct Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our Individual Giving programme. You’ll bring a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, and experience to help reset, strengthen, and grow something truly impactful.

This role is based in Wellington, and the core responsibilities include:  

  • Leading end‑to‑end delivery of Individual Giving and direct marketing campaigns
  • Driving donor acquisition and retention through effective processes and high‑quality donor care
  • Managing the Regular Giving programme, including growth, retention and performance optimisation
  • Planning and delivering email communications ensuring timely, engaging supporter messaging
  • Maintaining accurate data across fundraising platforms to support seamless campaign delivery
  • Analysing and reporting on performance, using insights and best practice to optimise results.

About you | Mōu
We're looking for an experienced fundraiser who’s confident leading Individual Giving portfolios. You’ll take ownership of delivering multi-channel direct marketing activity, working with internal teams and external agencies to drive performance and growth. Your experience will include:

  • 5+ years’ experience in fundraising direct marketing
  • Strong project management; able to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Skilled in data analysis
  • Knowledge of current fundraising best practice
  • Salesforce experience desirable
  • Reliable and able to work independently as well as within a team.
