This is a newly created senior leadership role within the Digital team, reporting to the Head of Digital, and forms a cornerstone of Toi Ohomai’s digital transformation journey.

As Digital Solutions Manager, you will lead the design, delivery, and adoption of user-centred digital solutions that improve experiences for student and staff and lift organisational performance. This role is accountable for turning strategy into action, driving meaningful change from concept through to successful adoption and business-as-usual.

This role offers a rare opportunity to help shape the future of digital at Toi Ohomai, driving positive change that directly supports our students and staff 

You will work at both a strategic and hands-on level, leading teams and partners to deliver modern, integrated digital solutions that are practical, well-designed, and future-focused.

Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities

· Provide values-based leadership to the Digital Solutions team.

· Lead the end-to-end design, delivery, and optimisation of digital solutions and platforms.

· Own digital change delivery, ensuring solutions are successfully embedded into BAU.

· Identify and champion opportunities for digital innovation and process improvement.

· Lead digital programmes and projects, with accountability for outcomes, timelines, and budgets.

· Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.

· Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies and digital trends relevant to vocational education.

You bring:

  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience leading digital delivery and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership capability.
  • A pragmatic, user-focused approach to digital design and delivery.
  • Experience embedding new ways of working, not just delivering projects.
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, equity, and inclusion.
