About the Role
We are seeking reliable and physically fit Nightshift Despatch Coordinator to join our produce distribution team. This role is focused solely on loading outbound deliveries, ensuring fresh produce is accurately staged, loaded, and secured for transport each night.
Key Responsibilities
- Load pallets and produce orders onto delivery vehicles according to load plans.
- Ensure all freight is loaded accurately and securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify pallet counts and load documentation before dispatch.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and loading equipment.
- Work efficiently to meet nightly dispatch schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe loading dock area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous loading dock, warehouse, or freight handling experience preferred.
- Forklift experience or licence is an advantage but not essential.
