Delivery Driver Class 2 with Van Sales Support
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team in a busy and physically demanding role. You will be responsible for delivering products to wholesale customers across the Wellington region using a Class 2 truck. This role involves heavy lifting of up to 25kg, so physical fitness is essential.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately are key requirements, as is the commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
In addition to delivery duties, you will also be involved in sales-related tasks, including providing relief cover for our Van Sales Representative team, merchandising, some packing and loading of the truck and contributing to sales targets.
This is a full-time position with early start times and occasional late finishes. The role also requires working every second Saturday.
The hourly rate is $33.50, with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.
Specific attributes/skills we are looking for are;
- A full Class 2 driver’s licence - this is mandatory.
- Relevant experience in delivery driving and sales is essential.
- Must be a confident driver of a large vehicle.
- Good spoken and written English.
- A proven track record of being reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
