With a growing number of clients we are on the hunt for some fabulous Caregivers to join our team. We provide 24hour support, Monday to Sunday, to clients in their own homes. We offer support from companionship through to palliative care, so are able to offer a variety of shifts to complement your skill set. Each shift is a minimum of 3 hours and can often be longer.
We are currently looking for carers in Napier, Hastings or Havelock North who have good availability, particularly week days. We are seeing an increase in clients needing more complex cares, so ideally needing carers who are skilled and experienced to be providing personal cares, are familiar with dementia and other cognitive issues. This is truly a rewarding role, knowing you are helping our clients to remain living in the comfort of their own homes with your support.
We have a dedicated office team providing support and guidance to our caregivers. We have a registered nurse on the team to support you in your role and an after hours coordination team to ensure you have the support you need should you work weekends.
We would love to hear from you if you have had experience with the following:
- Companionship
- Home-help, which may include light house work
- Personal cares
- Dementia experience
- Complex cares
Ideal Candidate must have:
- Recent care giving/healthcare preferred
- A clean full NZ Driver's Licence and your own car
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work legally in New Zealand.
- A clear background and criminal check
