 This role is two fold

1. Store merchandising

A typical day of merchandising could include: 

  • Restocking shelves
  • Ensuring products are well stocked & stock is rotated
  • Making sure products are displayed neatly and correctly and tickets are in place 
  • Talking to a wide range of clients and store staff

2. Interior Finishes merchandising

  •  Replenishing (restock & displaying) colour samples on display boards.
  • You will be calling on local interior design stores, visiting architects, kitchen designers, building companies, hardware stores etc. 
  • Hours will vary each month, as it will depend on the number of calls allocated during the period. This work can be done any day during the standard working week – providing flexibility.  
  • There will also be occasions throughout the year when there will be a total range update to be completed, so there will be more hours available to you.

Total hours average around 10-11 hours per week. Please note that due to the nature of the business, no two weeks are ever the same

The successful applicant will need to travel Kawerau and Opotiki every four weeks. Travel time and mileage is paid for this

  • Lives in Whakatane
  • Confident & well presented
  • Excellent time management skills and tech savvy for online reporting
  • Has a reliable vehicle, with space for carrying samples, and some small home storage space to store interior finishes sample stock
  • Has a clean & current driver’s licence, minimum of restricted
