The Horowhenua District Council is on the lookout for a Customer Support Officer who is committed to providing exceptional service and support to staff and customers in the regulatory area – namely the building, planning and compliance functions.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, dynamic, people focused, & have a high level of computer literacy as well as an exceptional phone manner and an upbeat and helpful attitude ready to make our customers’ day.
This role would suit someone with an administrative background, who has the ability to analyse and interpret plans and legislation, and follow policies and procedures.
Having a New Zealand Certificate in Regulatory Compliance (Operational Knowledge) or New Zealand Certificate in Building Regulatory Environment (Level 4) would be an advantage, as would previous experience in Local Government.
This is a permanent full-time role and is available immediately.
