He angitūtanga - The opportunity
The Horowhenua District Council is on the lookout for a Customer Support Officer who is committed to providing exceptional service and support to staff and customers in the regulatory area – namely the Building, Planning, Development Engineering and Compliance functions.
You will be the liaison between customers and Building Advisory Officers, Resource Management Planners and Development Engineers. Your role will be to manage and coordinate incoming enquiries, requests and customer responses as required using the Horowhenua District Council’s customer centric approach.
He kōrero mōu - About you
The ideal candidate will be energetic, dynamic, people focussed, & have a high level of computer literacy as well as an exceptional phone manner and an upbeat and helpful attitude ready to make our customers’ day.
This role would suit someone with an administrative background, who has the ability to analyse and interpret plans and legislation, and follow policies and procedures. Having previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
