Mō te tūraka mahi | About the role
We seek a positive and energetic person with excellent customer service and administration abilities and high level of communication skills to join our Customer Services Team.
This is a busy and diverse role where the responsibilities will include being the front-line contact for visitors at Otago Polytechnic, supporting Customer Services administrative processes and assisting with administering student applications. You will thrive on providing the highest level of service and advice to internal and external customers with your up-beat, can-do attitude. You will build rapport via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.
Ko wai koe | About you
Ideally, you will have an office administration qualification or equivalent experience. Your customer services skills and experience will be exceptional as will your effective relationship building skills. You will have demonstrable computer skills. You must have the ability to problem-solve, remain calm under pressure, prioritise your workload and meet deadlines. Previous experience working in tertiary education would be desirable.
You will be happy liaising with people from all walks of life, cultures and ethnicities.
