About the role: 

As part of our Customer Banking Inbound Team, you’ll be handling inbound contacts from  our customers via phone, email, and social media. You’ll be expected to provide an excellent  service experience by quickly and efficiently assessing customer needs and helping deliver  the right solution. Although this an entry level role, as we are a small organisation, the  successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop a solid foundation for any future  aspirations in banking. Once able to work independently, we provide the tools to allow  successful applicants to work nights and weekends at home. As we are a 7-day operation,  there are potential opportunities for overtime. 

We have a 36.75 hour role in our Taupo team, Sunday 9am-4:15pm, Monday and  Wednesday 8:45am-5:15pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10:45am-7:15pm. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve the bank’s goals by delivering excellent customer experiences 
  • Build relationships with customers by establishing rapport, proactively identifying  their needs across our full product and services range, and deliver suitable solutions • Adhere to current policy, procedures, and legal requirements 
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team 
  • Comply with Health & Safety requirements including practicing safe work methods,  and helping management eliminate workplace hazards You’ll bring the following experience to the table: • Proven customer service experience • Problem solving skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
