Customer Service Administrator

Rotorua Toyota is looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Service Administrator to join our busy Service team.
This is a varied role where you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our Service customers, helping make their experience with us easy, efficient and enjoyable. You’ll work closely with our technicians and wider Service team, helping keep the day-to-day operation running smoothly.
You don’t need to be an automotive expert. We’re looking for someone who enjoys dealing with people, can stay calm and organised in a busy environment, and is keen to learn. Full training and support will be provided.
As part of the wider Hawkes Bay Toyota Group, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop your skills and build a career within a large and well-established dealership group.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming and assisting customers throughout their Service experience
- Coordinating service bookings
- Keeping customers updated on their vehicle and service progress
- Working closely with our technicians and Service team
- Assisting with invoicing, payments and general administration
- Answering customer enquiries in person, over the phone and by email
- Helping ensure every customer receives a friendly and professional experience
What we’re looking for:
- A friendly and confident approach with customers
- Strong communication and people skills
- Great organisation and attention to detail
- Good computer and administration skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous customer service or administration experience is preferred
- Automotive experience is a bonus, but not essential at all.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 5:00pm.
Applicants must hold a Full NZ Driver Licence and be a permanent NZ Resident.
