Are you an expert in delivering outstanding customer service? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team in a full-time, permanent role. As a key point of contact for our community and customers, you will provide in-person assistance to community members, while also managing inquiries via phone, email, social media and other digital channels in our call centre. 

The Customer Experience Team are the face of the Council, this is the first stop for all of the Community with any of the services we provide. You will be the face and voice of Council for our community through face to face, telephone and digital communications. As a member of the Customer Experience Team, you are responsible and accountable for providing and the delivery of excellent Customer Service. You will strive to go above and beyond to exceed expectations by being reliable, detail focused and meticulous.  You follow through on plans to ensure they are carried out accordingly, supporting and collaborating with team members to achieve targets. This role will have times of pressure and requires a calm, composed, and optimistic approach in stressful or high- pressure situations.

You will be an amazing communicator that is capable of building relationships will all Stakeholders – internal and external. Being a self-starter and able to self-manage will be key to the success of this role. Your attention to detail will be on point along with your time management/organisation skills. You will have capability and awareness across the Council, connecting external stakeholders with the right services and departments.

You’ll be confident and driven to provide Customer excellence and go the extra mile for your stakeholders. You will have strong ability with MS Office suite and a variety of databases. 

Having strong relationships across the organisation will be key to your success.
