We are seeking a talented and driven lawyer with proven transactional experience in corporate or finance law to join our highly regarded Corporate and Finance practice in our Tauranga office.
About the Role:
You will work within a friendly, collegial and collaborative team managed by three Partners across a range of work for domestic and international clients including:
· Mergers and acquisitions;
· Capital raising;
· Venture capital funds and private equity;
· Secured and unsecured finance transactions;
· Aviation and asset finance (primarily international);
· Project finance (energy and infrastructure);
· Corporate structuring and restructuring;
· Governance and advisory; and
· Domestic and cross-border transactions and trade.
What we are looking for:
· NZ admitted lawyer operating at a reasonably senior level of experience;
· Proven transactional experience in the corporate or finance sector;
· Strong client service orientation;
· Ability to work reasonably autonomously;
· Strong work ethic;
· Excellent communication, written, analytical and technical skills; and
· A collaborative approach.
