 Are you passionate about governance, compliance, and helping organisations operate with integrity?  UCOL is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Corporate Assurance & Risk Officer to provide expert administrative support across our compliance, contract management, and governance processes.

In this varied role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring legal and policy requirements are met, while supporting operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and reducing organisational risk.  You’ll work closely with staff and managers, offering practical advice and guidance, and ensuring robust administrative systems underpin our assurance activities. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support across compliance, contracts, and governance processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support legal and policy obligations.
  • Assist with Official Information Act and Privacy Act requests.
  • Coordinate legal compliance activities, surveys and reporting.
  • Promote best practice in governance, records management and process improvement.
  • Deliver training in UCOL processes and develop guidance materials.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
