Cooke Howlison has a dedicated heavy truck service facility specialising in the maintenance, service and repair of Scania and Isuzu trucks. As part of one of New Zealand’s largest independently owned motor groups, Cooke Howlison has established itself as a respected industry leader, with a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
We are currently looking for two fully Qualified Heavy Diesel Technicians to join our team.
You will be given opportunities to work with the latest technology as you diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles and contribute to the effective operations of the workshop. Ongoing training and support will be provided to ensure your success.
To be successful in this position and be able to make a positive difference, you will:
- be a highly motivated fully qualified heavy diesel technician
- have good communication and organisational skills
- preferably have knowledge of and use electronic diagnosis
- auto electrical experience/franchise experience preferred
- have a proven history of producing quality work
- hold, or have the ability to obtain, a WOF Certification
The job also requires that you:
- have New Zealand Residency or a valid New Zealand work visa
- hold a current clean NZ driver’s license (class 2 – 5 preferred)
