  • Casual Cook position
  • AM, PM and Weekend shifts

We are currently seeking a Cook to join our team at Redroofs Lifecare where you will be preparing delicious, nutritious, and visually pleasing meals to residents within an aged care facility.  You will be working within a functioning kitchen and supported by the wider team. This is a great opportunity to showcase your cooking skills while being able to make a true difference in the lives of others.    

Must be available to work year round including school/university holidays. 

He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience

  • Good time management skills
  • Knowledge of food hygiene practices, preferably with a current Food Hygiene Certificate (or the willingness to obtain)
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and also independently
  • Empathy for others and care for residents
  • Understanding of Nga Paerawa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi
