The Opportunity

Our Cooks are responsible for helping to provide meals for our residents at Annie Brydon Lifecare. We only want the best for our clients, which is why we are seeking a reliable, helpful professional. This is an opportunity to work in an environment where we value career pathways and positive work ethics.

Applicants should have the following:

  • Shifts include AM and Weekend shifts (weekend cook, Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 8:30am to 3:00pm)
  • Demonstrate a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
  • Have sound knowledge of nutrition and dietetics
  • Aware of the cultural dimensions of food
  • Be forward thinking and proactive in approach
  • Have excellent awareness of food safety
  • Able to lead a team
  • Aged care experience preferred
  • NZQA qualifications in cooking and baking preferred
  • A First Aid certificate is preferred but not essential
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
