Skyline Queenstown
Travel, Transportation and Tourism

Skyline is a New Zealand-based global tourism and hospitality business focused on delivering real fun. With operations in eight cities and growing, we support our people to do their best work and create unforgettable guest experiences.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Content Manager to join our NZ Marketing team. This key role will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of content across Skyline Rotorua and Skyline Queenstown.

At Skyline, great content isn't just what you see in a campaign, it's everything a guest sees from the moment they arrive. This role sits at the centre of that, acting as the point of contact for all NZ content requests across the business. You'll ensure the right content reaches the right channels at the right time, supporting brand, campaign, always-on, and tactical activity. You’ll also own the on-site operational and executional content that keeps our sites running day-to-day; from menu updates through to wayfinding, guest information, promotional collateral and digital signage.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, external creators, and agency partners, you'll manage end-to-end content production and use performance insights to continuously identify opportunities to enhance content quality and effectiveness.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role that requires someone who is equally comfortable leading the strategic co-ordination of a major content production and turning around an urgent operational update. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creative thinking with strong organisation, stakeholder engagement, and delivery in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for someone who has done this type of role before, who knows what good looks like and can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a content management role with a track record of managing end-to-end content production across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking briefs, managing external creators, agencies and production partners, and delivering content outputs to brief, budget and deadline.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with external content creators and agency partners.
  • A customer-centric approach with a strong eye for quality and brand consistency.
  • Understanding of content performance metrics and a willingness to use insights to improve outcomes.
  • A passion for content, storytelling, emerging trends, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities include:

  • Owning the NZ content calendar and end-to-end delivery of content across brand, campaign, always-on and tactical site activity.
  • On-site content and operational communications covering wayfinding, menus, promotional messaging and guest information across all relevant static and digital signage customer touchpoint's.
  • Managing content requests and translating briefs into clear production plans and delivery schedules.
  • Briefing and managing content creators, agencies, and production partners.
  • Coordinating on-site content production across Rotorua and Queenstown.
  • Supporting influencer collaborations and content partnerships end-to-end.
  • Monitoring content performance and using insights to optimise content effectiveness and channel mix.
  • Maintaining content quality, consistency, and alignment with Skyline’s brand framework.
  • Content asset management – building and maintaining the systems and process that keep our content organised, accessible and properly distributed.
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, agencies, and industry partners.
