Construction Coordinator
Ultimate Builders is growing in Canterbury, offering an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a key role in the region’s growth. With a solid pipeline of projects and upcoming client builds—including a new Showhome—this role is currently managed from our Waikato office. We are now seeking an experienced support professional to be based in Christchurch, joining a small, dynamic team with full backing from the company’s head office.
This is an autonomous role offering variety and responsibility, from guiding clients through their home-building journey to assisting the Construction Manager in keeping projects on track—from point of sale through to consented plans—before handover to construction.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide weekly progress updates to clients.
- Assist the Construction Manager with project coordination and operational tasks.
- Manage project documentation, schedules, and internal communications.
- Process POs and liaise with suppliers and contractors.
- Work closely with the Waikato team to ensure best practice across regions.
- Be the primary client contact during the early stages of builds.
About You:
- Experience in construction administration or project coordination preferred.
- Familiarity with the new home build process, professionally or personally, is desirable.
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple projects.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong client communication skills and confidence in professional interactions.
