The Community Infrastructure Group are seeking a diligent and skilled  Compliance and Sampling Officer to join our dynamic Community Infrastructure Group. Reporting directly to the Compliance and Regulatory Lead - Infrastructure, this key role involves monitoring and reporting compliance concerning the management of our Landills and delivery of Local Water services in alignment with environmental health and water services legislation. Your role will involve leading gap analyses and liaising with the Local Waters team to form effective strategies to support and rectify compliance issues while raising and contributing to the mitigation of potential risks. Additionally, you'll help to craft strategic compliance processes to support the wider group with the optimisation of the lifecycle management of these assets. Key deliverables will revolve around ensuring operational compliance, driving operational performance in this space, conducting operational investigations, and continuously striving for improvements within these important sectors..

We are seeking a dynamic individual who embodies initiative and thrives in working independently while also having the ability to support and help drive the quality of our Local Waters services and Landfill Management. As an ideal candidate for this role, you will have some practical experience in program planning, auditing, compliance, and monitoring management in Local Government, engineering, or construction, with a particular advantage if you have experience in three waters infrastructure. Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation is crucial for this position, as you'll be responsible for providing actionable insights from complex information, both in written reports and oral communication to various stakeholders. Your track record should showcase continuous improvement and innovation, with a focus on enhancing systems and processes. Your ability to drive operational improvements will be essential for streamlining workflows and achieving organizational objectives.
