We are seeking an experienced and passionate Community Services Coordinator to join our team in a full-time permanent role. This key leadership position is responsible for coordinating high-quality, person-directed services that reflect the principles of Enabling Good Lives and support people to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

About the Role

As a Community Services Coordinator, you will manage a caseload of people we support, working closely with them, their whānau/family, and support workers to ensure services are responsive, effective, and aligned with individual goals and aspirations.

Key responsibilities include:

· Facilitating person-directed supports in partnership with the people we support, their whānau/family, and community networks.

· Developing, implementing, and reviewing support plans to achieve agreed outcomes.

· Coordinating and managing support worker rosters while ensuring service delivery remains within budget.

· Building strong relationships with the people we support, their families, and key stakeholders.

· Managing feedback and responding proactively to concerns to continuously improve service quality.

· Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of support workers to achieve positive outcomes.

· Fostering a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team culture.

· Ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively, and in accordance with organisational and sector requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

· A relevant qualification and/or significant experience within the disability, health, or community services sector.

· Experience supporting people with physical disabilities, including those with high health and complex needs.

· A strong understanding of person-centred practice and the Enabling Good Lives framework.

· Proven leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and supporting staff performance.

· The ability to build genuine relationships and work collaboratively with people, whānau, and community partners.

· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

· Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.

· A commitment to culturally responsive practice and working respectfully with diverse communities.

· The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
