An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (32 hours per week) communications specialist to join Odyssey’s Organisational Development and Support team.

You will be joining a team of talented knowledge experts who support the organisation in key functional areas. Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for leading Odyssey’s communications and brand management. This includes ensuring these align to the organisation’s vision, purpose and pillars, support the organisation’s strategic and business plans, are consistent across all channels and enhance the organisation’s reputation with key internal and external stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Prior experience of leading communications and brand management within the health or social services sectors 
  • A relevant qualification e.g. Bachelor of Communications or similar
  • Experience and confidence with online content management tools, digital asset management systems and web/social medial channels
  • A demonstrated commitment to a plain language approach 
  • Good understanding and experience of creating NGO brand value

In return we offer you:

  • A salary between $97,000 - $113,000 per annum pro rata depending on skills and experience
