 We are looking to recruit a Communications Co-ordinator at our Head Office in Te Puke. You will enjoy a high energy and fast-paced role, which requires the ability to create unique and engaging content for a variety of audiences and exemplary written and clear verbal communications skills. You are organised, digital savvy and for this level role, you will have the base communication skills and the right attitude to grow and develop in the team.

The Communications Co-ordinator role is responsible for co-ordinating internal and external communications to a variety of stakeholders ensuring a consistent message in line with the Seeka brand across all marketing channels. The role also includes project and administration assistance to the GM Grower Services & Marketing and Marketing & Communication Manager.

Skills and competencies: 

  • Strong written communication skills: Able to express in a written form the key information in a succinct and professional manner
  • Excellent attention to detail, grammatical and word skills
  • Organised/time management/prioritisation: Able to take an organised approach to all tasks in order to prioritise them according to the demands of the business
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills: Able to communicate clearly and effectively and at the appropriate level with various types of people (i.e. with Senior Managers, colleagues and the public)
  • Team player: Able to work effectively with others to achieve an optimal outcome
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Intermediate

Experience and qualifications:

  • Communications or related under-graduate degree or diploma level qualification
  • Entry level to 2+ years’ experience in similar role
  • Previous experience using content management systems and technology
