Kaitohutohu pāpāhō - Communications Advisor
From small beginnings 40 years ago, Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga has grown from three employees working out of a tractor shed in Waipatu to become a leading kaupapa Māori social services provider.
Today, the organisation employs more than 400 employees delivering more than 80 services to whānau across health, social, housing, cultural, economic development and environmental mahi.
The Communications Advisor role reflects the dynamic nature of our organisation. No one day will be the same — you might write an article about one of our services, gather content for our social media platforms, support our videographer with a milestone production series, or help design, create and deliver marketing materials for another service.
Due to the varied and diverse scope of the mahi, the ability to build connection, trust and rapport with a wide range of people — from whānau and kaimahi to suppliers — will be critical to success in this important role.
