Commercial Property Junior Solicitor
Holland Beckett is a progressive and growing full-service law firm, situated in the sunny Bay of Plenty with offices in Tauranga, Rotorua and Whakatāne. With over 150 employees, it is one of the largest provincial practices in New Zealand.
We are seeking an outstanding junior solicitor with a genuine interest in Commercial/Property and a desire to build a successful career in this practice area.
About the Role:
You will work within a friendly, collegial team managed by a Partner across a range of work including:
- Commercial property – acting for landlords/property owners.
- Property transactions – residential, commercial and rural.
- Rural property – sale and purchase of farms, orchards etc.
- Business transactions – sale and purchase of businesses & shares
- Business structuring advice – a particular focus on shareholder agreements & succession planning.
The team comprises a mix of Lawyers, Legal Executives and Support Staff at differing stages of their careers.
What we are looking for:
- NZ admitted lawyer with 0-1+ years PQE;
- Strong client service orientation and a desire to add real value to every client interaction;
- Strong work ethic;
- Excellent communication, written and technical skills; and
- Down to earth and collaborative interpersonal style.
